Poor was in-house counsel in $200 million in projects and $350 million in M&A transactions. He has also provided due diligence M&A advisory services for an international agribusiness conglomerate.
Poor handles all forms of business registration, licensure, permitting and code compliance. He has done administrative work for liquor licensees and petroleum marketers in Kansas and Missouri. Additionally, he has defended telemarketers and timeshare marketers in consumer protection cases.
Poor represents small businesses and entrepreneurs in litigation. He has defended more than $70 million in claims. He has over a dozen published decisions. Poor has represented the energy, manufacturing, engineering, construction, real estate, retail and hospitality industries. Poor has managed complex collections and contract disputes. Poor is experienced in handling employment, ADA, Title VII and civil rights litigation. He serves as expert witness in litigation related to corporate governance, renewable energy and agricultural project development.
